I never should have sold my Tacoma. I miss it dearly.
I bought the Ranger because it was cheap and I needed a cheap car to replace the BMW. I knew going in it wouldn’t come close to the Tacoma. It was 4x4 and better in everyway. I will buy one like the one I had someday.
I never thought I could love another truck. I’m not there yet with the Ranger but things are looking good. I drove it over 500 miles last weekend.

I wish it had 4x4. The Edge package makes an eventual swap easy. It has a 4x4 frame and front suspension. Maybe this summer I can throw a front diff and transfer case down there.
Over all these miles I’ve grown attached. Fixed the misfire. Best mod ever, not having to deal with loss of power and all the shaking.
Anyway. Don’t know where I’m going with this. Here are some pictures.

It’s funny—I used to live in VA and I never noticed that.

Not sure.
Road was marked as “197" went from the Interstate north of Asheville to Burnsville through Pensacola.

I don’t have anymore pictures, but I’m sure it is, that is the road I took that picture on. Didn’t know it turned to gravel when I planned the route. I did BRP to 80 to Micaville to 19E to 197 to I26 back to Asheville. It was a Saturday morning drive with no destination. Neat!

That’s a nice truck! The Edge package looks really nice, glad it’s got what you need to go 4x4. You won’t regret the upgrade.
Tacoma > Ranger. Still love a Ranger anyway.

Something I have always said: People rag on Rangers, but no one gets it till they drive one. There is something about Rangers.... Its inexplicable, you just have to drive one to understand it

Don’t think I understand it. Nothing inherently great about them. They just work. Sometimes. Just like any other car.

you’ll get it, give it time. There is just something strangely likeable about rangers.
